PD Dr. Horst Fichtner has recruited Dr. Roelf Du Toit Strauss as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow: Starting in February (Feb. 1, 2014), Dr. Strauss will spend six months as a
Research Fellow (postdoctoral fellow) at the faculty. He will continue or deepen his research work with PD Fichtner on the numerical simulation of the transport of energetic heliospheric particles in the turbulent solar wind plasma.

Dr. Ronny Brandenburg from INP Greifswald is a guest of Prof. Dr. Uwe Czarnetzki, Dr. Dirk Luggenhölscher and PhD student Patrick Böhm from February 11 to 12, 2014. Together they are working on a new cooperation between RUB and INP.
